Lemonade stand:
Not only children, you can also make lemonade, post signs to promote it, and sell it as refreshment on the hot days to raise fund for your charities.
Auctions:
Use your creativity in what you can auction off and ask individuals, groups or local companies to donate goods and services. Ensure goods and services are sold at reasonable prices.
Cards and Candy Sale:
Work with reputable firms in your community that provide merchandise to sell. Try to get it for free but if not be sure at least half of the money raised goes to the Charities cause.
Celebrate a carnival day:
Hold a winter, spring, summer or autumn carnival in your local park or school yard or your own garden. Invite all the community and charge for the admission or a small fee to play games. Also sell pop corn for additional funds.
Charity buttons and T-shirts:
Create a logo promoting the charity you plan to help and make up in bulk. Sell the items at a reasonable price.
Puppet show:
This event will let fly your creativity making puppets with socks, felt and other craft materials, picking up the story or writing an original. Set date, time and location to play it and advertise with flyers and posters. Sell the tickets in advance and door to door.
Walkathon:
Plan a route around your neighborhood, choose a date, make some pledge forms and advertise with posters. Ensure to have everyone who would like to participate gathering donations or pledges using their pledge forms.
Spaghetti dinner:
Plan a party as a great dinner for students, teachers, neighbors or the whole community and charge a fee.
Triathlon:
With the help of your friends set a course of running, cycling, and swimming. Make participants get pledges in competition to win prizes.
Fund rasing themes:
Need a theme for your Charities?... is not a problem if you organize a Charity party accordingly with every month of the year.

In November the Remembrance Day donations are easy to get or celebrate a Thanksgiving turkey raffle.

There are many options to consider when planning a Charity event but as a celebration do not forget the fun, not only developing the plan but attending the event and having enough elements to make this a special celebration to help.
