Finally, do not forget to pay attention to the baby shower checklist:
Two months in advance: decide the baby shower party location, set the date and time and start writing down the guest list.
One month in advance: select a theme for the party and plan the activities including games and other amusements. Select and buy the invitations, stationary, decorations and party treats at the time to decide the menu between a sit-down dinner or a light buffet.
Three weeks in advance: send out the invitations including directions (if needed). Finalize the shopping of those non-perishable ingredients included in your menu and order the cake or bake and freeze one for the mom-to-be.
One week in advance: clean and prepare the house and phone your guests to confirm their attendance. Buy crockery, disposable cups and paper plates and place orders for any other food if your menu requires any of these items. Buy and wrap the gifts and prizes if you are planning to give any as games incentive or souvenirs. Get the video camera ready or buy film.
The day in advance: buy perishable foods and get on hand the drinks; pick up the cake or unwrap the frozen. Decorate the party room and rearrange the furniture or bring extra chairs if required.
On the baby shower day: finish the decorations and room arrangements including the guestbook for the guests to sign up as a reminder of the day and enjoy the party!
